Sunsets: A splash of colour to an extraordinary life

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”

It doesn't matter where I am, what I've been doing or how crazy of a day I've had... Sunsets never fail to take my breath away. Mother Nature's gentle reminder (if only for a few minutes a day) to appreciate all the beauty that surrounds us and the gifts we have received that day.

I'll try not to wax poetic and instead share some of my favourite sunset photos with you. Though most are far from award winning photographs each one holds a special meaning, a moment captured in time and beautifully painted in the sky.

When did you last see the sunset? I encourage you to get outside and soak in those sweet sunset hues and take a minute to appreciate your day. Better yet enjoy it with some people that you love or if you are like me, look out at those sunset hues and hope that the ones you love are looking up and thinking of you.
