Snapshots of Vietnam

From December 18th-January 4th Kate and I left behind our desk jobs and the hot, humidity of the Philippines for a quick Christmas getaway to Vietnam. Rather than bore you with all the details here are some of the highlights from our trip.

Important sidenote: A definite lowlight of the trip was collectively losing two passports and three cameras between six people over the course of our two week vacation :(

Ho Chi Minh City exploring the maze of tiny alleyways.

Vietnamese Coffee... soo sweet!

War Museum

The Return of Rambutan! And a bounty of other fresh fruits.

Birthday Celebrations!

2 Day Hike in a National Park with no one else in sight.

Crossing the street alive in a sea of motorcycles during rush hour traffic.
Train rides
The Food!

Pagodas made of recycled glass and tiles

Christmas Celebrations!

Our trip was filled with great company (thanks to the fabulous LUMID crew) and fantastic food which was really all we could have asked for! Now it's back to work for the two of us and with less than a month to we've got an ever growing to-do list before we leave San Fernando.
